Jair Ortega ("we," "us," or "our"), an individual, operates A-MAJ at https://a-maj.com and the A-MAJ iPhone app. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

A-MAJ is a skill-based entertainment product for rated American Mahjong on iPhone. The website may host marketing, account, and legal pages. Playable web is not the product today (coming soon / parked). You must be at least 13 years old to use A-MAJ.

• Email address and authentication records when you sign in with an email magic link
• Google account identifier and email when you choose Google sign-in
• Apple identity and email when you choose Sign in with Apple (this may be an Apple Hide My Email / private relay address)
• Your name, if your Apple or Google account supplies one at sign-in (Sign in with Apple asks for it and lets you withhold it). It is kept on your account record and is never shown to other players
• Username / display handle and account identifiers

Facebook and X are not offered. We do not receive your Google or Apple passwords.

• Game results, seats, rating and competitive history needed to run rated play
• Coins, Gems, cosmetics, season / Club progress, and related virtual balances and entitlements
• Activity on your account: when you last connected, your daily check-in streak, share count, and the play-history calendar the app shows you
• Friend relationships and blocked-player lists you create in the product
• Player-report records you submit or that name your account, including the optional text you type in the report

• Push notification token when you grant notifications
• Limited device and diagnostic information (such as OS / model) when crash reporting is configured
• IP address and request metadata used for security, abuse prevention, and operation of the service
• Cloudflare Turnstile signals on email sign-in for bot protection

• Precise location, GPS, or Core Location data
• Payment card numbers (we never take cards ourselves)
• Contacts, microphone, or Bluetooth data
• Camera images or photo-library contents. The app can use your camera or a photo you pick as the backdrop of a share card and can save that card to your Photos; the picture stays on your device and is never uploaded to us
• Sensitive personal information categories we do not need to run the game

Language preference uses an in-app language choice (with a flag that follows that choice). It is not GPS. Optional city-badge items, if offered later in the shop, are cosmetics only and are not location collection.

We use information to:

• operate and secure A-MAJ (accounts, matchmaking, ratings, virtual balances, abuse prevention)
• provide support and respond to requests
• meet legal obligations
• improve reliability when diagnostics are enabled

We do not send marketing emails or run advertising / campaign-effectiveness tracking today.

In-app purchases, when enabled in a given build, are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple's privacy policy applies to payment data Apple collects. We do not store your card number. When you buy through Apple, we keep the transaction identifier, the product bought, and the time on our servers so the purchase can be delivered, restored, and audited; on account deletion those records are kept only under a pseudonymous reference. Stripe is not used for iOS digital goods. Until purchases are enabled in your build, you will not be charged.

We use service providers who process data on our behalf, including:

• Supabase (authentication and database)
• Render (realtime game server)
• Vercel (website hosting for a-maj.com)
• Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection on email sign-in)
• Transactional email delivery for magic links
• Google (when you choose Google sign-in)
• Apple (Sign in with Apple identity when you choose that method; App Store purchase when enabled)
• Sentry (crash / diagnostic reporting when configured)

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect players, the service, or others.

You can delete your account in Settings → Delete account, or by emailing support@a-maj.com. Deletion removes your account and profile. Some pseudonymous records may remain for security, abuse prevention, game integrity, disaster recovery, or legal reasons.

If you bought an App Store subscription or other Apple In-App Purchase, Apple's billing relationship is managed by Apple. Deleting your A-MAJ account removes access in our product; it does not automatically cancel Apple subscriptions. Manage or cancel renewals in your Apple ID subscription settings (or Apple's refund tools) in addition to deleting the account here.

A-MAJ is not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13 to use the service.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to appeal a privacy decision. Contact support@a-maj.com or use the DSAR form linked above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights available under law.

We operate from the United States. If you use A-MAJ from elsewhere, you understand your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate.

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the revised policy and change the "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide any notice required by law.
